Dedicated Pediatric ER
Because when it comes to your kid, there’s nothing you want more than fast, effective care. With 24-hour services, the latest technology, and caring staff, our dedicated Pediatric ER is a pediatric-ready emergency room prepared for your little one’s mishaps.
Overland Park Regional Medical Center now has a dedicated pediatric ER right here in Johnson County, with access to laboratory radiology, board-certified, fellowship-trained pediatric ER physicians, staff with pediatric specific training, child life specialists, and direct access to Johnson County’s only pediatric intensive care unit (PICU).
Pediatric Inpatient Unit
Our 24-hour Pediatric inpatient and intensive care services for children, includes a medical-surgical inpatient unit and pediatric ICU is staffed by board-certified pediatric intensivists and specialists, all with pediatric specific training.
Every room is private with a bathroom and expanded capacity, so parents can stay with their children in comfort.
Child Life Staff creates a positive experience for families during their hospital stay. Our Child Life Staff is specially trained and certified to help children, adolescents and families understand and cope with illness, treatment and hospitalization.
