Overland Park, Kan. (January 26, 2023) – Heartland Soccer Association, the largest youth soccer league and tournament host in the United States, finished its 2022 year with record-breaking numbers; hosting over 1,300 league teams each season and 3,400 tournament teams and creating an economic impact of $60.5 million within our communities.
Heartland looks to start their 2023 Spring season off strong on February 24th, with both its first weekend of play and the first tournament in its Spring Tournament Series, the long-standing, Border Battle Tournament. The Spring Tournament season also consists of five additional events: the Midwest College Showcase, Heartland Spring Cup, Kansas City Champions Cup, Midwest Mother’s Day Classic and Kansas City Invitational.
Heartland league and tournaments host players of all skill levels including recreational and premier level players and teams, youth ages 9-19, from the around the Midwest. Players play at four world-class turf facilities, including the Scheels Overland Park Soccer Complex and Garmin Olathe Soccer Complex, as well as the Compass Minerals Sporting Fields and Swope Soccer Village.
