Heartland Soccer Association - Tournaments

ANNOUNCEMENT - AUGUST 19, 2011

We are pleased to announce the addition of Lynda C. Watts to our family at Heartland Soccer Association.  As our Director of Development & Major Gifts, Lynda’s focus will be to grow and direct our Business Development & Sponsorship Division and the Heartland Foundation.

Lynda comes to us from the St. Louis area where she has practiced law and engaged in nonprofit leadership for the past 2+ decades.  As the managing partner, vice president, and chief trial lawyer of Dolgin & Watts, P.C., Lynda enjoyed a successful law practice for many years before turning her attention to philanthropic endeavors.  As a licensed attorney in good standing, Lynda will also now take on the roll of In-House Counsel for Heartland.

For the past 13 years, the majority of Lynda’s time has been devoted to an assistance program she founded, The Watts Alternative, dedicated to young adults with developmental disabilities, inner-city & underprivileged youth, as well as the neediest of needy families in her community.  As a result of that very successful program, dozens of young adults call her “Mom,” and Lynda considers herself to be extraordinarily blessed by what has become a very large and diverse “family.”

Lynda is also a professional writer with various publications to her credit.  She is a recognized parenting and relationships expert in the Midwest, and was the feature writer for The Hands-On Parent, a regional magazine.

Lynda attended our local Avila College for a year before returning to St. Louis where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree followed by a Juris Doctorate, both from St. Louis University and its law school.

Please welcome Lynda to our staff.
